The UK Government's Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) is the UK government’s National Technical Authority for protective security advice to the UK national infrastructure. Their role is to protect national security by helping to reduce the vulnerability of the national infrastructure to terrorism and other threats.
CPNI is also a key stakeholder in DASA’s Security Rapid Impact Innovations competition, and works closely with other key government security departments, including the Home Office Homeland Security Group, Cabinet Office Civil Contingencies Secretariat and the Police, in particular the National Counter Terrorism Security Office.
