Join us for an informal seminar and networking and hear from our keynote speaker James Gavin.
James Gavin is the head of ‘Future Capability Innovation’ in DES (previously Future Capability Group). This team accelerates novel ways of working and technology into operational, and is due to spend circa £0.5bn over the next year. James will talk on where FCI fit into the MODs ecosystem, what work the team will be funding into industry, and how to get involved.
James has served in the military, wider government departments and industry, and has been in the MOD DES for over 3 years. Most of his career has been spend in Operations, Project and Programme Management as well as business development and consultancy roles, all with a bias towards accelerating capability rapidly into operational use.
